Beyond Talent hosted our first annual benefit gala on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Josephine Butler Parks Center. Supporters and friends joined staff and volunteers for an Evening at the Park Jazz Gala and Silent Auction, sponsored by the Abbott Klar Real Estate Group.

Guests enjoyed live jazz guitar, appetizers, drinks, and dessert and bid on items from local restaurants, bars, gyms, theaters, and museums including Sticky Rice, Tabard Inn, Newseum, Quiet Mind Yoga, The Red and Black, GALA Hispanic Theater, just to name a few. Beyond Talent's programs for non-traditional high school graduates will benefit from the generous support of sponsors and guests.  Many thanks to everyone who came and supported BT, and Bill Freed, a guitarist who volunteered his services for the enjoyment of our guests!
