We're Looking for a Few Good Mentors! |

Beyond Talent has more students than we can serve! You can help by volunteering to mentor a student. You could also tutor! Many non-traditional graduates need to improve their math and writing skills to succeed in college. Some of our students come to our office during the day for tutoring, so if you work downtown you could meet with your mentee once a week on your lunch hour! Right now Beyond Talent staff is tutoring these students, but with your help, we could work with even more. Let us know if you'd like to help -- we'll set it up!
Current students Chris and Valerie come to our office once a week for tutoring in math and writing. Chris is a recent GED graduate who is preparing to enroll in UDC. Valerie is in our Pathways program. |
