Welcome to Beyond Talent!
Beyond Talent empowers non-traditional high school graduates in the District to attain at least one year of post-secondary education or training so they can succeed. Beyond Talent is the only organization in the District promoting access and success in higher education through an approach that is:
LOCAL
Meeting the unique needs of District residents
COMMUNITY-BASED
Engaging grassroots organizations that provide GED preparation and other adult basic education services
NON-TRADITIONAL
Serving youth who have become disconnected from the public schools and completed an alternative credential such as the GED, as well as all students enrolled in non-traditional programs; English as a Second Language students; first-generation college students; and adults who are pursuing higher education years after completing high school

2nd Annual Graduation a Huge Success!
Wow, the graduation came and went in a whirl! The guest photographer, Choke, is supplying BT with tons of great digital photographs ASAP,and we can't wait to share them with you! Congratulations to our wonderful participants: Leopoldo Bopp, Jennifer Zelaya, Junni Humanzor, Alexi Calderon, Jude Wasyeba, and Lisa Prue, who are all college bound!

The bus starts at Currrent and makes 3 more stops, with happy hour specials offered till 10 p.m.
The Co-Captains of the Fleet, Ellie Phillips, Miranda Gardiner, Nathalie Gabriel, Aaron Pease, Quinci Moody, and Jamie Bingner, are looking for a few good crew members -- 12 lucky ticket-holders will be Captain's Mateys and receive an appropriate pirate pin!
